Which events will you attend?

Friday March 29, 2024

The Ceremony

Sunnyside Conservatory
10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
236 Monterey Boulevard, San Francisco

We encourage taking public transit or a car service due to very limited street parking . The Glen Park BART Station is an easy 10 minute walk from Sunnyside Conservatory. The ceremony will be indoors and coffee, tea, juice, and pastries will be served in the garden.

The Afternoon

Explore the city and consider doing one of our favorite things: take a jaunt to the Golden Gate Bridge and Crissy Field; stroll through Noe Valley, Dubose Triangle, and Haight-Ashbury; or ride the ferry to Jack London Square in Oakland.

The Celebration Dinner

The Ramp
5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
855 Terry A. Francois Boulevard, San Francisco

The Ramp is accessible by public transit and there are multiple parking lots in the area, however the restaurant itself does not have parking. We will be dining on a tented patio with heat lamps. Please email [email protected] about any dietary restrictions.

The Attire

Aloha Friday cocktail attire! Please remember that one of San Francisco’s many charms are her microclimates—be prepared to experience a smattering of seasons all on the same day.

Friends and Family Picnic in Golden Gate Park

Pioneer Log Cabin Picnic Area
11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Join us for a casual picnic in Golden Gate Park at your leisure. The Pioneer Log Cabin Picnic Area is near the Stow Lake Boathouse, which offers boat rentals, and the de Young Museum, which has a free observation tower that is definitely worth a visit.

Where to Stay

Whether you prefer to stay in a hotel or use AirBnB or VRBO, we recommend staying in the north or middle of San Francisco. Fisherman’s Wharf and Union Square have many hotel options. Union Square hotels are convenient to the Powell Street BART Station. The neighborhoods in the middle of the city—Lower Haight, Duboce Triangle, The Castro, Eureka Valley, Noe Valley, and Inner Sunset—are all charming, famously hilly residential enclaves convenient to public transportation. We live in the Mission District near Precita Park, which is adjacent to Noe Valley.

Transportation

We recommend using public transit to get around town. We’re big fans of Muni, SF’s bus system, as well as Muni Metro and Muni Historic Streetcars, the light rail system that serves all the neighborhoods listed above ($3 adult cash/$2.50 adult Clipper Card/free for people 18 and under). BART, while not quite as famous or expansive as the London Underground or New York Subway, is a Bay Area institution and an inexpensive way to quickly get from the airport to downtown ($10.50 adult/$3.95 senior/$5.25 youth from SFO, slightly more from OAK). To ride BART, or to get a discount on Muni or the ferry, you will need a Clipper Card which acts as cash for your transit fare. Clipper Cards can be obtained at kiosks in BART/Muni Metro stations, at most Walgreens, or through Apple Pay and Google Pay. Lyft, Uber, and FlyWheel apps are good options too.

Gifts

Having you join us on our big day is the best gift, but if you wish to indulge in spoiling us we would be grateful if you contributed to our honeymoon piggy bank. We’re planning a relaxing trip to Mendocino. And if you’d rather get us a physical gift, we’ve set up a registry at Heath Ceramics. Thank you!
